The long-feared reckoning for the powerful men entangled with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein has been reignited by the posthumous publication of Virginia Giuffre’s memoir, Nobody’s Girl. Giuffre, who tragically died by suicide six months ago, offers a harrowing, unflinching account of the years of abuse she suffered, including an explosive allegation of brutal rape by a world leader.
The memoir’s release instantly intensified the long-running scandal surrounding Prince Andrew, leading him to relinquish most of his royal titles just days before the book hit shelves.

The Most Explosive Claim: Rape by a High-Profile Politician
Giuffre’s book details the horrific conditions of her servitude, writing that she was “habitually used and humiliated—and in some instances, choked, beaten, and bloodied.” The most shocking allegation involves an unnamed, high-ranking official.
They thought her story ended. They buried her name, erased her voice, and sealed her truth behind money and silence.
But Virginia Giuffre was never meant to disappear. Months after her death, her secret memoir — Nobody’s Girl — 1 pic.twitter.com/ZBPLknH0LS— BARB59 / CANADA 🇺🇦 #FvckTrump #DemCast (@ABrosnikoff) October 17, 2025

Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir “Nobody’s Girl” (released today) lays bare how trafficking really works: through forced complicity.

In the US edition, Giuffre alleges she was savagely raped by a man she describes only as a “well-known Prime Minister.” The UK version refers to the same individual as a “former minister.”
“He repeatedly choked me until I lost consciousness and took pleasure in seeing me fear for my life. Horrifically, the Prime Minister laughed when he hurt me and got more aroused when I begged him to stop,” Giuffre wrote of the encounter, which allegedly took place on Epstein’s Caribbean island when she was 18.
She recounts pleading with Jeffrey Epstein not to send her back to the man, only for Epstein to dismiss her fears, saying coldly of the politician’s brutality, “You’ll get that sometimes.”
The identity of the politician is not explicitly named in the memoir, but the revelation is guaranteed to increase pressure on governments worldwide to investigate all individuals connected to Epstein’s network.
Prince Andrew’s Further Fall from Grace
The memoir casts a harsh new light on Prince Andrew, already disgraced over his association with Epstein and his ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell (now serving a 20-year prison sentence).
The Trolls and the Settlement
Giuffre, who accused Andrew of sexually assaulting her when she was 17, alleged his team actively tried to undermine her during her civil case:
“After casting doubt on my credibility for so long – Prince Andrew’s team had even gone so far as to try to hire internet trolls to hassle me – the Duke of York owed me a meaningful apology as well,” she wrote.
Andrew settled the civil case in 2022 for an undisclosed sum, despite vehemently denying ever meeting Giuffre.
Relinquishing Titles
In a pre-emptive move to shield the monarchy from the memoir’s fallout, Andrew announced last week that he would relinquish the use of his royal titles and honours, including the Duke of York. He will, however, retain his birthright title of “Prince.” This decision followed discussions with his brother, King Charles III.
The Damning Email
Adding to the pressure are newly unearthed emails reportedly showing Andrew maintained contact with Epstein even in February 2011—months after the prince claimed to have ended their friendship. In one note, Andrew allegedly wrote to Epstein: “It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it. Otherwise, keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon!!!!”
US Congress May Call Prince Andrew
The scandal is now escalating across the Atlantic. American lawmakers are reportedly considering inviting Prince Andrew to testify before the U.S. Congress regarding his ties to the disgraced financier.
Representative Stephen Lynch, a Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, confirmed the committee’s interest in hearing from the prince as part of its review of the “Epstein Files.” However, as U.S. subpoenas hold no legal weight in the U.K., Andrew would have to agree to appear voluntarily.
The publication of Nobody’s Girl ensures that the Epstein scandal, and the questions about the powerful figures who enabled it, remain at the forefront of global attention.
