The Timeline That Just Crumbled: Prince Andrew Rocked by 1993 Epstein Bombshell
Darling, in the sordid, shadowy world where convicted sex offenders mingle with royalty and billionaires, every date matters. And now, a new claim is throwing a wrecking ball straight through Prince Andrew’s already threadbare defense, suggesting his poisonous relationship with Jeffrey Epstein began years earlier than his highly scrutinized, infamous public timeline.
The new allegations come from Beatrice Keul, a former Swiss model and beauty pageant queen, who claims that Epstein was boasting about his connection to the Duke of York as far back as 1993. This directly contradicts Andrew’s claim during his disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview that he first met the deceased financier in 1999.
This isn’t just a simple date discrepancy; it’s a fresh stain on the royal’s tattered reputation, adding crucial, and sinister, context to how Epstein operated.

The 1993 Pageant: A Recruiting Ground
Keul’s encounter with Epstein took place in 1993 after she was invited to the Donald J. Trump American Dream World Finals in New York and Atlantic City. Fresh off her runner-up spot in the Miss Switzerland pageant, she was thrilled by the “all-expenses paid” trip, thinking it would launch her modeling career.
She claims the environment was anything but a dream. After arriving at Trump’s former Taj Mahal Casino Castle and then being bused to the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan (which Trump owned at the time), she says she quickly realized the true, chilling nature of the event.
Epstein, who was there, immediately attempted to establish trust by bragging about his connections. “Straight away, he told me, ‘I’m Don’s best friend,'” Keul recalled. He allegedly tried to lure her to an event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, promising to “take care of you. Flights, hotels, I’ll sort everything, just come because Don likes you.”
Keul, however, found Epstein “very slimy” and refused to give him her details, at which point he reportedly claimed he would “just get them off Don (Trump).”
The Royal Bait: “You’ve Got the Calibre for This League”
It was during this attempted recruitment that Epstein allegedly dropped the Royal bombshell. When Keul was hesitant, Epstein switched tactics, boasting of his ties to the British royal family.
“He kept saying he had very rich and powerful friends and knew the Royal Family. And then I said, ‘The Royal Family?’ And he said, ‘Prince Andrew.’ He said he could facilitate the contact,” Keul stated.
This 1993 claim is the central, explosive contradiction to Andrew’s official timeline. It paints a picture of Epstein using his proximity to the British royal to lend credibility to his dark recruitment efforts and suggests Andrew’s association was established at least six years earlier than he admitted.
Keul was explicit in her observation of Epstein’s methods at the pageant: “Then I saw Epstein talking to the other girls. He was making his rounds. He was there to recruit and get addresses and phone numbers.” She said Epstein told her she had “the calibre for this league,” implying a certain level of power or status was expected of those in his orbit.
The Trump Connection: More Pageant Groping Allegations
The Keul revelations throw a harsh light not only on Andrew’s lies but on the environment surrounding Donald Trump’s beauty pageants in the early 90s, where Epstein was clearly operating as a trusted associate.
Keul also claimed that during the same 1993 event, Trump himself lifted her dress and groped her at the Plaza Hotel, an allegation Trump denied last year, calling it “false.” This echoes previous accusations against Trump from multiple women connected to his pageants, further establishing a disturbing pattern in the sphere shared by Trump and Epstein.
For Prince Andrew, whose reputation has been permanently marred by his “longstanding relationship” with Epstein, the new information is a catastrophe. It adds significant weight to the existing doubts about his truthfulness, a credibility issue that led him to lose his royal responsibilities and ultimately settle the civil suit with Virginia Giuffre for a staggering $16 million.
As the press points out, Keul’s allegations place “further doubt on his widely criticized timeline,” transforming what Andrew claimed was a six-year friendship into a sprawling, decade-long association that began during a sinister period of alleged recruitment and trafficking. The fallout for the tainted royal, who has desperately tried to disappear from public life, is just beginning.
