Christine Baumgartner has found her new, joy-filled chapter. Less than two years after finalizing her divorce, the designer has married financier Josh Connor in a private, intimate ceremony that guests described as truly “authentic” and “heartfelt.”
The couple, both 51, exchanged vows on Saturday, October 18, at the Santa Ynez Ranch, a beautiful private vineyard near Baumgartner’s hometown in Santa Barbara, California.

An Intimate, Family-Focused Celebration
The wedding, held right before sunset, was a picture of rustic elegance, attended by just over 100 of the couple’s closest family and friends, including all six of their children (Baumgartner shares three children with her ex-husband, Kevin Costner, and Connor shares three from his previous marriage).
In a refreshing departure from grand celebrity productions, the entire event was planned as a family-centered weekend, starting with a welcome celebration on Friday night, allowing the newlyweds to spend quality time with their loved ones.
“It was magical—truly,” one guest shared. “The setting was gorgeous, but what made it special was the intimacy of it all. This wasn’t a big production. It was authentic, heartfelt, and so very them.”
The ceremony itself was reportedly an emotional affair. “Christine and Josh were glowing. And there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd during the ceremony,” said another attendee.
Bridal Style and the Quiet Love Story
The bride chose two stunning looks for the occasion:
- Ceremony: A custom gown by Mira Zwillinger, featuring a sweetheart neckline and delicate hand-embroidered flowers.
- Reception: A sleek, strapless white satin Lihi Hod dress with a sweetheart neckline and a stylish side slit.
Connor looked classic and refined in a custom-tailored black tuxedo.
The couple’s relationship first surfaced in July 2023, and after spending Christmas together, they got engaged on January 26 in a romantic, unpretentious beach proposal in Santa Barbara.
A friend noted that for the newlyweds, the focus is now on peace: “They are embracing the peace of this new beginning—focusing on the everyday moments that matter most.”
🎵 Empowering Others: Christine’s Work with OmniPeace
Beyond building her new life with Connor, Baumgartner has also been expanding her involvement with the non-profit OmniPeace Foundation. The organization is dedicated to bringing music education to children in underserved communities.
She recently helped design and fund one of their “Music Box” initiatives in Long Beach—a fully equipped, custom-painted music room packed with instruments, curriculum, and materials a school needs to launch a permanent music program.
It’s clear that between a focus on family, a love for community, and a beautiful new marriage, Christine Baumgartner and Josh Connor are stepping into a future defined by authenticity, joy, and peace.
