Jennifer Aniston Bluntly Rejects Elon Musk Comparison

Jennifer Aniston isn’t holding back when it comes to her thoughts on Elon Musk.

The Friends alum made her stance clear during a recent profile with Vanity Fair, where writer Julie Miller noted a similarity between Aniston’s character Alex Levy’s love interest in The Morning Show and the Tesla CEO. The fictional romance, played opposite Jon Hamm, involves a billionaire daredevil with rocket-building ambitions — a detail that Miller pointed out mirrors Musk’s public persona.

Aniston immediately dismissed the comparison.

“I don’t find him desirable in any way or shape,” she said, swatting away the idea.

The comment was part of a broader discussion about how the Apple TV+ drama incorporates real-life news and political themes into its storylines. In Season 3, Alex Levy becomes romantically involved with Hamm’s character, Paul Marks — a wealthy, risk-taking mogul with a fascination for space exploration.

While Aniston clearly isn’t charmed by Musk’s image, the billionaire has had no shortage of high-profile relationships over the years. Actor Amber Heard famously dated Musk on and off between 2016 and 2018, shortly after her split from Johnny Depp. Heard has previously described Musk as a “real gentleman” and “nice,” recalling their first meeting at the 2016 Met Gala.

Musk, whose ventures include SpaceX, Tesla, and the social platform X, remains one of the most polarizing figures in tech and pop culture. For Aniston, though, his brand of adventurous billionaire energy simply doesn’t spark interest.
